God can satisfy a hunger or need if you let Him yet, life is still life.
Which leads me to another thing. You never pretend life is easy once God is in your life. There are sermons and preachers out there that are so worldly that make great claims...
Get God and live happily ever after.
Get God and it will all work out.
Get God and you will be happier.
If that were the case everyone would be stepping up for God.

You are on the narrow road, and been honest enough to say that life is still hard and you are gonna have tough times even when God is in control. I think that is so important for people to know. Life doesn't change, it is the way God works to show us how to handle life and the events in it that changes.
Thanks for the insight.Dianahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02861593087888289667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32201783.post-6021273084064695662007-10-02T10:59:00.000-05:002007-10-02T10:59:00.000-05:00What truth there is in this post. Very eloquently...What truth there is in this post. Very eloquently stated. I can personally relate as I've been divorced for 9 years and although I haven't "arrived" where Christ wants me to be, I can first hand testify to looking for that satisfaction from worldly things - most of all relationships.

And time after time, I have made the same mistakes over and over, thinking that somebody can satisfy that God shaped place that only HE can.

So, this is just to say - AMEN BROTHER! I agree wholeheartedly with your post and "only in God can you find what your heart is really longing for." Thanks for this awesome post. :)Dana a/k/a Sunshinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10572195070306258488noreply@blogger.com
